Prague Green Hills
Competition concept proposal for a housing settlement in Prague, Czech Republic
Project Description:
A new living settlement is proposed to be located in a post-industrial area of the capital of Czech Republic. We envisioned it as a chance to design a green project with sustainability built in it's very core from the start. The program was split into two groups accordingly to the scale and sun path. Smaller units were located by the existing tree alley (an old train track) and surrounded by a terraced form covering all the site extent facing the street. This new housing typology would have the plantation growing vertically on terraces with a green imprint on every floor making it look as if the buildings are surfacing from the natural landscape.
Type: Concept Design / Limited invited competition
