CLOSE FUTURE - ELECTRIC CARS INCREASE

The electric cars are not only a mere percentage of all vehicles on the roads but more than half of all of them. The new automotive revolution remains yet still uncertain and is connected to many factors. The unsustainable production of batteries as the main building element of electric cars will heavily depend on an another type of natural resources - metals that will become the next oil. The real increase of electrification will be mostly related to the actual purchase cost and not the environmental aspect.

DISTANT FUTURE - AUTOMATED TRANSPORTATION

Ground communicationin cities is solely based on autonomous pods. The facility turns into their hub - a transfer and service point with adjacent retail functions beeing a modern mass transportation station of the XXI century.

THE DAYS OF FUTURE PAST - ALL TRANSPORTATION UNDEGROUND

With all personal and collective means of transportation in cities positioned in underground tubes and tunnels, roads are replaced by green spaces with bike and pedestrian trails - just like many decades ago. The station no longer serves it's previous purpose and changes it's function, turning into  a cultural community spot with a local market.
