FILLING STATION OF THE FUTURE CAMPAIGN

As we prepared a concept related to one of the most popular city structures on a worldwide scale - gas stations ,we have seen that the location of the project itself is rather limiting as for media exposure. Such an innovative concept deserved to be shown for and in many other places to bring this important case study to a wider audience. As a result we have prepared an entire campaign for our client with a promotional movie and a presentation which was later exhibited in Venice, Berlin, Sofia and Vilnius. All this effort together with the project was awarded the prestigeous German Design Award 2018 not only for the architectural quality but officially as well for Excellence in Comunication Design. 

GREEN CITY CORRIDORS VISIONS

We are big fans of vast green areas that can be applied in cities in a pragmatical manner, in places that need it the most. One of them are definetly big connectors, highways which cross and negatively divide city areas and cause a lot of issues for their citizens like noise or polution. After proposing local solutions in Seoul, South Korea and Atlanta in the USA, we have teamed up with local consultants to come up with a promotional campaign for a park extention on top of one of the main arteries in Warsaw in Poland which would hidden in a tunnel. Our non-utopian vision was focused not only on planting trees but on creating spaces for socializing for the local community.

LIFE WITH A TREE

MJZ contributed to and exhibition organised by the Association of Polish Architects SARP related to dream houses. As we love nature and are heavily working on resilient projects  it could not be any other than a green vertical structure. The living conditions of a family and it's three generations in this unit would be strongly connected with the life cycle of a singular tree.

MIXING ART WITH ARCHITECTURE

The sculptures of the artist Kate Lipecky where combined with the versatile scenery from our projects to deliver many different types of atmospheres and related emotions. The collection of collages had it's premiere during the venue of Kate in the National Museum in Warsaw, Poland.

MJZ_ATLANTA-STRATEGY

STRATEGY  FOR ATLANTA CAMPAIGN

We took part in the American Institute of Architects convention which took place in 2016 in Atlanta. Here we had the chance to present our strategy for the I-65 Connector, a 14 lanes highway which cuts the city in half as in normal conditions rivers do. Only in this case it is not connected with nature but with noise and polution. In our vision we proposed stiching the city with green bridges which have a mirroring underside able to reflect the important part of Atlanta for by-passers. As a final end result we delivered not only a concept but also a branding proposal, which was delivered to the Mayor's office.

PROJECT PRESENTATION IN KAZAKHSTAN

We have prepared internally a presentation of our project for local authorities in Kazakhstan. The 4 minutes long movie was used as an additional mean to communicate the main features of the architecural proposal.
